A third generation carpenter and integral part of the Earthwood brotherhood since 1982, Alan has utilized his master carpentry and supervisory skills with the company for 25 years. He enjoys the challenge of taking a building project efficiently from the planning stage through completion.

Graduating from Salisbury State College in 1977, he has a Bachelor's of Science degree in Education. Coaching recreational and travel baseball and soccer teams since 1995, Alan enjoys playing baseball for the Ponce De Leon adult league.

Alan resides on a farm in Carroll County; in a home he and his wife, Lisa, designed and built. They have two teenage children, a son attending St Mary's College of Maryland and a daughter at Garrison Forest School.
