After twelve years in real estate, managing hi-rise office buildings, Dennis began a second career--in woodworking. He spent ten years prototyping custom furniture for a large firm in Baltimore before joining Earthwood Builders in 2005.

A member of the Society of American Period Furniture Makers (SAPFM), Dennis likes to restore antiques and build period reproduction furniture in his spare time. He is also putting the finishing touches on the expansion and restoration of his late-Victorian shingle-style house (circa 1921). Dennis lives in Owings Mills with his wife Carolyn and their son, Dylan (circa 1998). Dennis' aspirations include viewing the earth from space some day.
